Catch up deux

So I'm sure you have been waiting by your computer for my next update to hear my news... right? ;) Anyhoo! I'm moving home! Now this isn't a huge move as I am moving up the stairs in my building. Why? Currently I'm on the ground floor and would feel more comfortable up a few levels and well that extra flight of stairs will certainly burn a few calories... kidding. Seriously though its a much nicer home, with a lovely view of the city and natural light. I can't wait... well I kind of can because moving equals stress but it will all be worth it when I'm settled in my new home :) Now on to more photo overload from the past weeks events!

My sisters wedding also known as a handfasting

My older sister is a witch! Now now...I'm not being mean she is pagan and had the most lovely ceremony wearing a beautiful red dress in a field in the South of England.

Dad, Clare, Connie and my niece Poppy

All home cooked

It was a truly wonderful day and I am so happy to be part of it.

After the wedding I spent the rest of my time hanging out with two of my besties

I then headed back through to London stopping by Forever 21 on my route...

and of course getting a whole food fix too!

The night I left London all the riots kicked off and I have to admit there was a strange atmosphere about the City what with underground stations being closed down. I actually decided to get the earlier train to Glasgow because I didn't feel safe. It is horrid what has happened these past few weeks in this country and I really hope things have calmed down and hopefully not have to face something like this ever again. It really is shameful!

Anyway on to....

This weeks plans

Usual routine
Book Spin course
Pack boxes
Clean up
See the little sister
Buy decorating materials
Doctors Appointments

Phew! As you can see its a busy time ahead but hopefully I can get into a little routine of actually uploading photos and having a natter on here more often.
We shall see eh? Best not get ahead of myself now. Hehe :)

Glasgow

Firstly thank you so much for all your wonderful comments on this post :)

I have shared photos of other cities but have failed to show you pictures of where I live so here are some for you to have a nosey over...

I like pretty lights :) can you tell?

I took these while coming back from a nice long walk the other evening. I needed to clear my head because its been a pretty overwhelming week. Intensive therapy sessions, family stuff, study, exercise regime and feeling even more tired than last week. Things just keep going round in circles and I don't make any progress in fact things just get worse or at least they get better then a remark or small event tips me back over the edge. I have been trying to focus on my studies more and have met some wonderful friends lately which has helped a lot.

I hope you all had a fabulossy weekend :)

This weeks plans

Study
Hang out with the little sis
Appointments including blood test (hopefully anemia has gone)
Spring clean
Coffee dates
Swimathon

Happy Valentines

Polly pockets heart shaped home!

My dad got my niece Poppy a collection of polly pocket homes and he saved the exact same one I had as a child. I was way too happy than a 24 year old should be to receive this but I ain't your average adult. The only thing missing is Polly hereself so if anyone has any miniature dollies lying around y'know she has a home here...

Anyhoo! It was Valentines day and I have returned home and can you believe I couldn't get in my door. It was so incredibly hard with the amount of cards I received. Haha not really but least I can make a joke about it rather than feel all sorry for myself eh? Instead I had a date with Bob... bob the treadmill! Thats right I name cardio equipment at my gym... my other two fav running machines are Milly & Tom btw.

Well I think I have scared my readers enough for one evening y'know being a crazy singleton will do that to a girl ;)

Stay tuned for my London update and results for the Sidcup 10 mile race coming your way very soon! Hope you all had a lovely day and I'm sending hugs and chocolate to all ♥

Love times a thousand

I miss...

Home.

However being back in Glasgow means I get cuddles from the wonderful...

Darcy!

The flat is finally coming together and my living room looks much better now the walls are intact...

So its fairly obvious this blog is neglected and I think I would actually like to commit to updating more. The thing is I just tend to lose my drive and motivation to write and fall of the radar. I have been inspired by the lovely Jessica at Almost Over Now to attempt the 30 -day insight challenge

Day 01- Guilty pleasure.
Day 02- Something that inspires you.
Day 03- The five songs you would have with you on a desert island and why.
Day 04- What you imagine paradise to be like.
Day 05- A thank you letter to someone who has changed your life.
Day 06- Earliest thing you can remember.
Day 07- Favorite cover of your favorite song.
Day 08- Someone you think would make a good president.
Day 09- Five things you want to see change.
Day 10- A dream you had this past week described in detail.
Day 11- Favorite picture ever taken of yourself.
Day 12- Your favorite musical artist’s life story.
Day 13- A memory that never fails to make you laugh.
Day 14- Best mashup you’ve ever heard.
Day 15- A moment, phrase, or song that has changed your life the most.
Day 16- Something that you want to do within the next five years.
Day 17- What you want to be remembered for.
Day 18- A picture that makes you feel.
Day 19- A passage from a book that has touched you.
Day 20- A band that you immediately liked and the song that made you like them.
Day 21- Your favorite medium of art.
Day 22- Someone you would give your life up for without question.
Day 23- Most awkward first impression you feel you’ve ever given.
Day 24- Something you did as a child that other people remember you for.
Day 25- Something you would do if no one stopped you or if you knew you wouldn’t fail.
Day 26- Your definition of love.

Day 28- A moment you remember being completely happy in and a description of why you believe you were. What is your definition of happiness?
Day 29- What you live for.
Day 30- Ways you believe you have grown over the past thirty days.

Starting tomorrow... no really I will be back tomorrow! Right now I am going to stop Darcy pulling all my magnets of my fridge door (strange kitty) and then hit up the gym for a good workout session.

Home

Loving being at home! I was thinking back to when I was happiest and it was when I lived in the middle of nowhere away from the hub of things and being in the countryside has made me miss it so! Yesterday I went out a cycle and it was just great, the sun was shining, the breeze, the quiet and just being outdoors.

Upon finding my love of the bicycle I have taken to using it to go everywhere. I went swimming this afternoon and the pool was lovely jubbly warm. It makes quite a change to the fureezing pool I am used to. However its a new leisure facility and its very fancy with things like a moving pool floor! Yesterday the tots were in playing with ducks so they had the depth at 0.80 which made the 'deep end' feel like you were attempting to swim in the bath. Still it was warm so I shouldn't grumble...

Instead lets talk crumble... thats right! I made my first ever Raspberry crumble for mother dearest. I am getting into this whole country bumpkin thing so I picked fresh fruit from the garden and got to work in kitchen.

hello beasties! (not to worry I did wash the rasps)

mums verdict...

Success!

We have mini apples growing in the garden so i'll probably make an apple dish for me soon. I'm not a berry fan with the exception of strawbs. I do love my apples though! My favourites... pink ladies. Do you have a favourite fruit? Are any apples as tasty as my little pink ladies?!

That's all for this tooty fruit post.

Much love

Demotivated

In general I feel really demotivated and can't really be bothered with anything or anyone. Its nothing personal but I have that blah feeling. Enter lazy girls salad from Marks and Sparkles...

Surprisingly divine!

I have a lot going on and I am on the slippery slide which frustrates me & everyone around me. My ED thoughts are really overwhelming and I just want to hide away. I am not challenging the negative thoughts as much as I should be. I know what I need to do so why can't I just get on and do it?! I guess that is part of vicious cycle that keeps trapping me in the illness. I find little things that others find so simple incredibly hard and I am in a constant state of worry. An example is eating in front of others... (minus my family) I know people think because you have anorexia you do not eat anything which is not true cause lets face it don't eat... you die. Yet I find myself out and about and not allowing myself anything even when I feel like hell in case someone sees me or worse says something (good or bad). Its ridiculous and something I should probably work on but it seems like the impossible and obviously I can't control other peoples thoughts or actions so I feel its best to avoid it all together. Its a little typical of me... running away and burying my head in the sand. I don't really know where I am going with this so I reckon its time to move on...

Decorating nightmare continues!

The plaster work is finally complete! Now all I have to do is get emulsion on the walls followed by operation clean up. Its tough doing it alone so my Dad is going to help out next week and hopefully by July I will have a kitschy cute castle that I can call home :)

Yeah. I don't have a lot else to say! If any of you have bloggy suggestions feel free to ship them my way as I am really blank just now.
