Late

This post is a little late but its been a busy old time as usual! I won't go into the why's and wherefores right now so I'll jump in and tell you about our trip to London town....

After a really quick ahem 10 hour over night journey on the mega blue bus which didn't have a bog, toilet, bathroom, whatever you call it our bus didn't have one. We got a grand total of ONE stop and it was way warm. However Chloe sister and I made it safely to London where we went straight to our hotel and promptly fell asleep. I got up in the afternoon for a work out sesh in the nice empty gym and a chilled out (no really it was cold) swim. I then wandered round Kensington and visited Whole foods! The salad bar wasn't a patch on NYC but it was okay none the less. I think my appetite was out of whack from all the traveling or something because nothing appealed. I managed to bag some goodies for my dear friend Sarah which she was delighted with :) Anyway back to bed and got up super early for a day in LONDON!

We walked through Hyde park and observed the runners some people where really toight shorties ;) and some have really amusing running methods. In saying that I probably run like Phoebe from friends so I ain't judging. We headed toward Oxford street and hit up the shops before stopping at my fav place for a coffeeee fix.... Starbucks! Yeah!

Caffeine high we went to...

I had only ever been to the Glasgow store and was well excitable hey! can you blame me?! I had coffee in my system and there was tons of barbies. Even Chloe was overwhelmed just check her little wee face in the panda panda photograph.

After the Toy shop excitement we headed to Leister Square, wandered through China town, swung by Covent Gardens then headed to Victoria to get the train to go see our good old Dad. Phew! It was an exhausting but very fun day and I loved spending some quality time with my little sis. I am not long in and my kitty cat is demanding attention so I'll be back with the rest of the info on our trip very soon.

Hope you are all having a super weekend and keep your fingers and toes crossed that the weather forecast is wrong and we don't end up with a ton of snow.

Thank you

Dear Chloe

You are the most genuine person I know. I love your honesty... it may be brutal and not what you want to hear but 99% of the time you are right. Thank you for being direct and telling it like it really is!

We may get on each others nerves now & again but hey! thats sisters for you right? You have put up with me throwing a monopoly board at you, pinching you, taking your things without asking, shouting at you and telling on you once I had convinced you to tell me what I got for my eighth Birthday. Thank you for not lamping me one for all the times I acted up and drove you crazy.

I am quite the difficult person... which is an understatement I know but through my highs and lows you have always been there.

You are a courageous, strong, wonderful, beautiful, caring person and I want to Thank you for being you. You deserve happiness and I want you to know that you don't need to hold everything together for everyone. Things have a way of working out and you need to look after yourself and please know I will always love you.

your telltale loving silly sister

Something that inspires you

hello

Thats my 50p purchase from Marks... yuh huh that's a cookbook (!) lets hope it inspires me anyway eh? My bargain purchases aside I have a few things that 'inspire' me but mainly those somethings are people.

First up my family (Mum, Dad and sister Chloe) as despite putting them all through the mill these past few years they have never given up on me and encourage me every step of the way. It is frustrating to be around someone suffering from an eating disorder and they have motivated me when I have been downright difficult. Individually they have all been through a lot and despite all the many hurdles thrown in each of their paths they have come through it fighting strong and I admire them all so incredibly much. They inspire me in so many ways and for that I will always be grateful.

Inspiration comes in form of another person I know named Leanne (fitness instructor, teacher and super fast runner). She works at my gym, a bundle of energy, lovely, caring, wonderful person that has endured and overcame so much. She too has battled anorexia and fought back from the brink, she fought the illness and has suffered the consequences but she rediscovered life and best of all discovered it without the use of this debilitating condition. There is no doubt in my mind that it is the hardest thing to ever do but the fact I have met someone that is recovered makes that dim light on the horizon shine that bit brighter. I will take this opportunity to thank Leeanne for being my inspiration and also for the amount of support she provides me.

I could go on about the amazing people I am lucky to know but I think I don't want to bang the sentimental drum too hard ;) tell me what/who inspires you

Back tomorrow with 5 songs to take to a desert island!

Blender fun

Yesterday I got a new toy for the kitchen! I have traded my old hand blender for a proper real type blender which cost less than £10 ;) I love a bargain I do! I am very much looking forward to making strawberry and nana smoothies this weekend.  Mmm!

Oh yeah early happy valentines! clinton card cash in

Neigh! I don't have a secret lover... the card is from my little sister :)

Forget Valentines I have a whole host of other things to keep me occupied! Namely the swimming pool followed closely by the stationary bike which has had to replace the number one in my life... the treadmill. Sad times! I have messed up my ankle from over training and using that damned machine. I am looking to get back outside running next week and will stick to softer grounds so I do not aggravate the injury that has thankfully almost fully recovered. Its been a tough time sticking to low impact exercise and I have complete runners envy. Any runner I see while out & about I feel so annoyed and disheartened that I am not able. Running really helps clear my head and make me feel like I've had a proper workout. Such is life as they say!

Exercise aside I am also set to see my little sister Chloe for cinema times and a night out of dancing which I am thoroughly looking forward to. I hope you all have a lovely weekend and have some Valentines love from me ♥
