Catch up deux

So I'm sure you have been waiting by your computer for my next update to hear my news... right? ;) Anyhoo! I'm moving home! Now this isn't a huge move as I am moving up the stairs in my building. Why? Currently I'm on the ground floor and would feel more comfortable up a few levels and well that extra flight of stairs will certainly burn a few calories... kidding. Seriously though its a much nicer home, with a lovely view of the city and natural light. I can't wait... well I kind of can because moving equals stress but it will all be worth it when I'm settled in my new home :) Now on to more photo overload from the past weeks events!

My sisters wedding also known as a handfasting

My older sister is a witch! Now now...I'm not being mean she is pagan and had the most lovely ceremony wearing a beautiful red dress in a field in the South of England.

It was a truly wonderful day and I am so happy to be part of it.

After the wedding I spent the rest of my time hanging out with two of my besties

I then headed back through to London stopping by Forever 21 on my route...

and of course getting a whole food fix too!

The night I left London all the riots kicked off and I have to admit there was a strange atmosphere about the City what with underground stations being closed down. I actually decided to get the earlier train to Glasgow because I didn't feel safe. It is horrid what has happened these past few weeks in this country and I really hope things have calmed down and hopefully not have to face something like this ever again. It really is shameful!

Anyway on to....

This weeks plans

Usual routine
Book Spin course
Pack boxes
Clean up
See the little sister
Buy decorating materials
Doctors Appointments

Phew! As you can see its a busy time ahead but hopefully I can get into a little routine of actually uploading photos and having a natter on here more often.
We shall see eh? Best not get ahead of myself now. Hehe :)

Late

This post is a little late but its been a busy old time as usual! I won't go into the why's and wherefores right now so I'll jump in and tell you about our trip to London town....

After a really quick ahem 10 hour over night journey on the mega blue bus which didn't have a bog, toilet, bathroom, whatever you call it our bus didn't have one. We got a grand total of ONE stop and it was way warm. However Chloe sister and I made it safely to London where we went straight to our hotel and promptly fell asleep. I got up in the afternoon for a work out sesh in the nice empty gym and a chilled out (no really it was cold) swim. I then wandered round Kensington and visited Whole foods! The salad bar wasn't a patch on NYC but it was okay none the less. I think my appetite was out of whack from all the traveling or something because nothing appealed. I managed to bag some goodies for my dear friend Sarah which she was delighted with :) Anyway back to bed and got up super early for a day in LONDON!

We walked through Hyde park and observed the runners some people where really toight shorties ;) and some have really amusing running methods. In saying that I probably run like Phoebe from friends so I ain't judging. We headed toward Oxford street and hit up the shops before stopping at my fav place for a coffeeee fix.... Starbucks! Yeah!

Caffeine high we went to...

I had only ever been to the Glasgow store and was well excitable hey! can you blame me?! I had coffee in my system and there was tons of barbies. Even Chloe was overwhelmed just check her little wee face in the panda panda photograph.

After the Toy shop excitement we headed to Leister Square, wandered through China town, swung by Covent Gardens then headed to Victoria to get the train to go see our good old Dad. Phew! It was an exhausting but very fun day and I loved spending some quality time with my little sis. I am not long in and my kitty cat is demanding attention so I'll be back with the rest of the info on our trip very soon.

Hope you are all having a super weekend and keep your fingers and toes crossed that the weather forecast is wrong and we don't end up with a ton of snow.

Banana & Honey

New M&S range is rather good... the banana and honey bread is yummeh! Soft, nana, honeyness with added texture of sunflower seeds makes them extra tasty. UK bloggers you should go try them as they are quite special.

This week has been non stop go go go and I have a night bus trip to London town to catch tonight D: I don't mind too much though because I will no doubt nod off and sleep the journey away.

London plans

Book into hotel
Nap
Swim and gym
Shop
Wholefoods (!!!)
Special adventure with sister dearest
Go visit pops in Maidstone (cannot wait its been way too long)

Tick tock

Hey angel faces

My oh my did I forget the clocks leaped forward and only go & miss body combat this morning! I did however make up for it with an epic gym work out and swim. (note to self: weekends equal screaming children taking over the pool with frog shaped floats)

I am at my Dads for the week which has been rather good as its given me chance to get away from Glasgow which was more than necessary. After a tough few months I have had a little (big) relapse with regard to eating & I have suffered the consequences x 10. Lost weight means I am freezing and sore 99.9% of the time, my immune system is below normal and I have anemia. Sounds super great huh? Needless to say I feel less than stellar. I have however put on my smiley face self in hope that I'll wake up and smell the coffee and breakfast muffin ;)

I've been told I need to up my food intake so I'm trying to push negative thoughts aside and just get on with it. I have been picky ever since I was little so finding things I like is a task and a half! My Dad made Spinach and Tuna cannelloni which I had a little taste of but unlike Popeye I'm not a lover of the green leaf.

Yesterday was a day out in London town! We parked at Elephant and the Castle which randomly reminded me of Babar (above) Aww! how much did you love that french elephant? ANYWAY we walked to the Tate Gallery passing an even cooler named place en route.

:O

Now maybe I am not modern, cool and artistic like everyone else these days but some of the things in the gallery how on earth can it be called 'art'? Examples; bits of carpet hanging from the ceiling, random boxes with tape round them and what could only be described as a room that looked like it hadn't been finished resembling that of a garden shed. I couldn't resist giggling like a school girl while some people stared in absolute awe. I have the mind of a 5 year old sometimes I know! I did see some lovely things that were interesting and pretty though so I would suggest a trip to the Tate if you get the opportunity.

Last but not least...

This is probably the amount of clothes I go through in a week btw. Hey! I'm female! What do you expect?! On that note I am going to crash out and catch some much needed Zzzz's.

La la Night

London Times!

Well I have been in England this past week which has served me well as I got a nice change of scenery and a break from Glasgow. I visited lots of family and spent time with my adorable niece Poppy which was lovely. One afternoon we played dress up and I wore a pretty tiara followed by setting up home for the Barbies dolls. This fun was interrupted by my 4 year old Poppy 'By the way Aunty Amy its not real... its only pretend'... oh! Last time I throw myself into imaginary games! Heh. It was a delight to see everyone again and I enjoyed the time away. On my road back I stopped for an evening in London which was very eventful and exhausting! I did the entire tour on foot with help from my trusty iPhone.

First stop was Victoria followed by a blustery snowy walk toward Buckingham Palace, a trip through the park passing the Ritz on the way then getting a little lost trying to find Oxford Street. I finally made it to the shopping hub and stopped for a cup of tea in a cute waffle place. After a sweet tea I browsed through Selfridges then ventured toward Covent Gardens...

This is where I got my ballet slippers on for some dancing times at...

The Pineapple Dance Studios :D The place was full and buzzing! There are so many classes going on and I was so looking forward to doing some basic barre work. It was also a welcome warm place from the copious amounts of snow that decided to pour from the sky that evening! The class lasted over an hour and was very enjoyable. Afterwards it was time to head back toward Victoria station and journey it home to Glasgow. All in all it was a great few days and I can't wait to go back again soon!

Will post again shortly lovelies!
