Loving being at home! I was thinking back to when I was happiest and it was when I lived in the middle of nowhere away from the hub of things and being in the countryside has made me miss it so! Yesterday I went out a cycle and it was just great, the sun was shining, the breeze, the quiet and just being outdoors.

Upon finding my love of the bicycle I have taken to using it to go everywhere. I went swimming this afternoon and the pool was lovely jubbly warm. It makes quite a change to the fureezing pool I am used to. However its a new leisure facility and its very fancy with things like a moving pool floor! Yesterday the tots were in playing with ducks so they had the depth at 0.80 which made the 'deep end' feel like you were attempting to swim in the bath. Still it was warm so I shouldn't grumble...

Instead lets talk crumble... thats right! I made my first ever Raspberry crumble for mother dearest. I am getting into this whole country bumpkin thing so I picked fresh fruit from the garden and got to work in kitchen.

hello beasties! (not to worry I did wash the rasps)

mums verdict...

Success!

We have mini apples growing in the garden so i'll probably make an apple dish for me soon. I'm not a berry fan with the exception of strawbs. I do love my apples though! My favourites... pink ladies. Do you have a favourite fruit? Are any apples as tasty as my little pink ladies?!

That's all for this tooty fruit post.

Much love

More time in a day please?!

I have no idea how you blogger people manage to update everyday! I can barely find time to update once a week!

I have been finding things really hard lately and I am struggling to keep on top of things but what is new?! WELL I'll tell you what is new... my running shoes!

Eeee! pretty in pink and super comfortable. I got fitted in store for them a few weeks back but they only had them in bloo and because I'm an OCD freak I wanted my trainers to match the rest of my running gear so I waited patiently for them to arrive. Darcy liked them too...

Sorry my mistake...

It was the box he was after! I also got a Nike running band to track my time and distance...

If you plan on getting one of these... don't bother! The dye came off on my arm after one run and the screen became slightly blotched despite it being a crisp dry day. I mean I broke a sweat but but I didn't over exert myself to the point that the band should start failing on me! In my opinion its naff (oh my I haven't used that term in a long time) anyway I returned it to the store within 24 hours of purchase. Time to start saving for a garmin or if anyone is feeling generous y'know make sure its in pink to colour co-ordinate with the above. Hehe

I'm rather sleepeh so I will leave this post here for just now.

Night folks

London Times!

Well I have been in England this past week which has served me well as I got a nice change of scenery and a break from Glasgow. I visited lots of family and spent time with my adorable niece Poppy which was lovely. One afternoon we played dress up and I wore a pretty tiara followed by setting up home for the Barbies dolls. This fun was interrupted by my 4 year old Poppy 'By the way Aunty Amy its not real... its only pretend'... oh! Last time I throw myself into imaginary games! Heh. It was a delight to see everyone again and I enjoyed the time away. On my road back I stopped for an evening in London which was very eventful and exhausting! I did the entire tour on foot with help from my trusty iPhone.

First stop was Victoria followed by a blustery snowy walk toward Buckingham Palace, a trip through the park passing the Ritz on the way then getting a little lost trying to find Oxford Street. I finally made it to the shopping hub and stopped for a cup of tea in a cute waffle place. After a sweet tea I browsed through Selfridges then ventured toward Covent Gardens...

This is where I got my ballet slippers on for some dancing times at...

The Pineapple Dance Studios :D The place was full and buzzing! There are so many classes going on and I was so looking forward to doing some basic barre work. It was also a welcome warm place from the copious amounts of snow that decided to pour from the sky that evening! The class lasted over an hour and was very enjoyable. Afterwards it was time to head back toward Victoria station and journey it home to Glasgow. All in all it was a great few days and I can't wait to go back again soon!

Will post again shortly lovelies!
