New

...shooooes ahem boots!

Its a new pair of Wellington's... not a pair of nikes!

better still they are Hunter Wellies :D

I got the kids ones because my feet are only little which means they don't swamp my feet and they cost half the price. Bop bop!

You won't believe this but my last pair of wellies went missing! During the snow times I left them at my front door to dry off thinking that nobody would want a pair of pink wellington boots. I was wrong as they disappeared and have never been seen again. Oh well there is a little random info for you.

Today I did the new body combat routine and la la loved it. It has the teenage dirtbag song which reminds me of being 15. It was also a good work out which I was pleased about because the last few releases have been less than stellar. I seen my mother briefly and she gave me my new boots so that was nice. Tonight has been relatively quiet hence the Saturday night blog post but that suits me fine because its freezing again outside and Glasgow is covered in mist which makes going out kinda spooky.

I have been really good lately and sticking to my stretching routine every night and have even started doing a weekly yoga class which is much more enjoyable than expected. If you are hesitant to try yoga... don't be! It really is a pleasant work out, relaxing, and very good for you too :) For more info on yoga check out this link

Well I don't have a lot else to say but heres my schedule for the week ahead...

Next weeks plan

Work out routine
Appointments times three
Meeting with the BHF
Study
Book London trip
Sign up for this seasons races

Rar!

Ohhh it was a toughie but I completed it! 5k in 2 hours 20 minutes... not the fastest time but I got a purty royal bloo medal.  I didn't think I would find it that hard as I swim 2k almost every day but the cold water, length of time in the pool and morning run probably didn't help. I really struggled near the end but pushed on through and made it to the finish! I had a very proud mother at the poolside waiting with hugs a big fluffy warm towel. Bless her for waiting all that time for me to complete it :)

I received a lovely little present from my friend Sarah! After spin on Monday she brought out...

Chocolate Covered Katie's fudge babies! Such a sweetie is Sarah which reminds me I should return her tupperware box or she will be mentally kicking me in body combat... I jest! I jest!

In other news my flat is being remodeled which equal mess, stress and upheaval. What began as some innocent removal of wallpaper resulted in half the wall following suit. Cue tears and general freaking out girly moments. There are workmen coming in and out the place, my hall resembles a construction site and the dust oh the DUST! Its everywhere! E-V-E-R-Y-W-H-E-R-E just... D: At the moment I am awaiting more work getting done and Darcy is staying with Alice until everything has settled down. I miss my cosy home and kitty cat cuddles!

Also I have an exam in just under 4 weeks and started out very well with a supreme study plan. I stuck to it for almost a day (no I know... rocking!)  then maybe, possibly, probably it got trapped underneath runners world magazine and erm yeah I really need to get back to the books.

Lastly this may be my last post for a short while as things are very hectic but if I manage to blog in between times then I will of course be back with ramblings and photos very soon.

Love

Clear Roads

Bonjour lovelies

The snow has finally melted and its not as cold! Pheweee! However this weekend we are due another cold snap... sadface.

This week I have been super busy and have barely had chance to sit down in fact I don't think I have really sat down except for sleep times. Although catching Zzz'z is a task & a half primarily because of my young child cat. Honestly Darcy has some form of ADD and likes to howl and scratch my door for a good two hours every single night. I love my cat to bits but he does love attention so its hard to ignore his sing song meow and his beautiful blue eyes... non?

This week it was the relaunch of dance class releases which is always good! Also enjoyed a number of Spin classes minus yesterdays one as the strap on my pedal broke and it came round at spinning speed into my  poor leg. I was at the front of the class and I am aware the mirror reflection of this painful comical moment was on show for all to see. Calf & pride in one fellow swoop. Ouchies!

I am planning to do the woman's 10k in May but its far away so I decided to sign up for the 5k fun run in March. I would like some company so if anyone is floating around on this day feel free to join me! I have had a really good running week running 6 miles on Monday & Tuesday and took it easy with a 3 mile run and stretch session today. I overtrained in November and put my ankle out so I am trying to be more careful this year.

I have found a substitute to my all time favourite cereal which I first encountered in Italy during my travels and just fell in ♥ with the stuff. Much to my disappointment we don't get it here in the UK and even kind emails to Kellogs never amounted to anything! I am getting to the point... no really I am! In our local German supermarket I found Nougat pillows & by god yes they are as good as they sound. The word pillow probably helps as it makes me feel slightly dreamy. Just me?! Thought as much! Anyway I do suggest you try a bowl of these little delights!

Well I am feeling the effects of my busy week catching up and still have some emails & study I should really set about.

Hope you all are having an enjoyable week :)
