Sorry you're feeling lost and directionless too ~ I think anxiety about life tends to exacerbate food/exercise related compulsions, at least for me. Then it becomes a vicious cylce whereby I'm less open to certain career options because of the food/exercise issues and so feel even more trapped, etc! I wish I had some advice for how to deal with this...
I loved your answer to my fourth question ~ my feelings exactly! It's nice to have someone be so honest :)
Your point about gyms where people aren't nosey is such a valid one and something I'd completely forgotten about. At my old gym (the one before this one) people were always poking and prying about my exercise/why I was there at certain times/why I'd gained weight/what I was doing career/study-wise. It was none of their business! People are just so prying sometimes.
I used to love attack and combat but had to give them up due to the stress they put on my joints ~ it was a choice between them and running and I chose the latter. The coach definitely does make all the difference though.
I hope that you can realise your dreams of becoming a fitness instructor :) I wish there was something more I could do to help but at least if you can relate to something I posted it might be slightly helpful perhaps?
Congrats! Very exciting! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Abbey :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your graduation :D
